This event was aimed at getting the inputs of the stakeholders on what should be captured in the 2022 budget as it concerns the citizens; both indigens and residents of Enugu state.
The secretary to the state government Prof. Simon Ortuanya represented the governor HE Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi, the commissioner for Budget and planning Dr. David Okelue Ugwunta was the chief host, Barr. Chibuzo Crownwell the founding executive director Youth Education on Human Rights and Civil Responsibilities (Yehrcr) and the OGP CSO Co-Chair for Enugu state, together with Mrs. Clara Eze of Ministry of budget and planning presented a rundown of Citizen Accountability Report (CAR).
Highlight of the event were inputs made by stakeholders on what they want to appear in the 2022 budget like Construction and rehabilitation of roads, provision of social amenities, employment and establishment of skills acquisition centers across the state.
Many dignitaries graced the occasion which includes traditional rulers, government functionaries, president generals, youth forum, women group, CSO’s, the Clergy and other stakeholders.
